Why I started Puppy Steps

I've raised different and sometimes challenging puppies myself, so I know firsthand that puppy raising can often feel counter-intuitive. It's easy to feel overwhelmed, especially when there is so much conflicting or outdated training advice out there.

I started Puppy Steps because I am passionate about helping owners understand their puppy's behaviour. I want to give you the clarity and confidence to raise a happy, well-adjusted dog without relying on confusing or harsh methods.

How I work

I have been training professionally since 2014. My approach is entirely focused on modern, reward-based methods that are scientifically proven to work. I believe in early training, thoughtful socialisation, and patience.

Whether we're working on basic puppy skills or navigating the tricky adolescent phase, my goal is to make training practical for your everyday family life.
